You And Your Big Ideas Gallery (YAYBIG) (of Tucson) is having a print exchange for 2014. This exchange is a opportunity for printmakers from the southwest and beyond to show gather together and make great prints. The only requirement is to print on 8” x 10” paper and the print has to be made within the last twelve months.
Print Information & Guidelines
Each artist creates a limited edition print using any traditional printmaking technique relief, lithograph, intaglio, serigraph, letterpress, or combination of techniques. There will be an online and physical print catalog of the exchange. Prints will also be posted on this website. Two prints will be kept and used for exhibitions (TBA) . Requirements for Submission
Theme: Open
Eligibility: All printmaking artists in the Southwest and beyond
Dimensions: Paper size 8” x 10” (20.3cm x 25.4cm) no larger or smaller. Image can be any size that fits paper dimensions
Edition Size: Limited edition of 15 , numbered (1/15, 2/15, 3/15 …etc.), titled, signed, and dated. Each artist will receive 13 prints in exchange. 2 will be kept for traveling exhibitions. Organizers reserve the right to curate the exhibition portfolio based on quality.
Printmaking Media: Any traditional printmaking technique: Relief, Lithography, Intaglio, Serigraphy, Letterpress, or combination of techniques. Please, no straight Digital.
Participation Fee: $20 USD (covers shipping fees and materials, exhibition materials, and promotion).
Deadline: Prints and Payment are due by Sept. 15, 2014

Yay Big Gallery has also been showing at pop-up galleries throughout the SouthwestUSA -- see YayBigSouthwest.blogspot.com. This print exchange wants to encourage those Southwest printmakers, as well as others who want to join us, to continue the artistic dialog in the Southwest.
